"The Future of Public Libraries" is a C2 Proficiency Writing practice task (essay). Your class has attended a panel discussion about how public libraries can remain useful in the future. You have made the notes below. Write an essay discussing two of the points and explain which should be given greater priority. Points raised: • quiet spaces for study • community events • online services One speaker said: “Libraries are most valuable when they offer something people cannot easily get at home.” Write 220–260 words.
