Subject pronouns

Choose the right pronoun

Use a pronoun when you do not want to repeat a noun.
- Maria is my sister. She is 20.
- The keys are on the table. They are mine.
- My cat is small. It is very friendly.
He, she and it

Use he for a man or boy.

Use she for a woman or girl.

Use it for a thing, an animal when the sex is not important, the weather or the time.

Common mistakes
Me am from Spain.→ I am from Spain.My parents is here.→ They are here.The book is interesting. He is new.→ The book is interesting. It is new.
