Woman: How are you getting there? Man: I first planned to take the train, but there are delays. The bicycle is possible too, although it takes longer from my house. I've decided to go by bus; that should be simplest today. The journey isn't very long, but I need to arrive on time because I have an appointment soon after I get there. I checked the timetable this morning and also thought about the traffic. Normally I don't mind changing plans, as long as I know before I leave home. I also need to meet Nina near the bank, so I don't want to risk another last-minute change once I've left home. Man: What time shall we meet tomorrow? Woman: I can't manage 08:30 because I'll still be busy, and 09:30 is a little late. Let's make it 09:00; that gives us enough time before the event. We should leave enough time to find the place because neither of us has been there before. I also want to get something to drink before it begins, so meeting too close to the start would make everything rushed. I'll send you a message if anything changes. I'll put the agreed time in my calendar and message Nina as well, because we're all meeting outside the bank before going in together. Presenter: The forecast has changed. We expected sunny conditions, and there was a chance of rainy weather later. In fact, it should stay windy for most of the day, so plan for that. Temperatures will be fairly mild, and there is no warning for dangerous conditions. People travelling later in the evening should still take a light jacket because it will become cooler after sunset. The forecast for tomorrow is different, so this advice is only for today. The outdoor area beside the bank should therefore be able to operate normally, although anyone staying late may still want an extra layer. Woman: Have you decided what you're having? Man: I nearly chose the soup, but I had that yesterday. The salad looks good too, but today I'll have the sandwich. I'm not in a hurry, so I can eat here rather than take something away. I had a large breakfast, which is why I don't want the biggest meal on the menu. I'll probably have a drink afterwards, but I haven't decided what kind yet. I need to be back near the bank shortly afterwards, so I want something I can finish comfortably without having to rush the rest of my break. Man: Where shall we meet after work? Woman: The library will be too busy, and the park closes early today. Let's meet at the café; we can stay there until we need to leave. I need somewhere we can actually talk because I want to tell you about the new project at work. It doesn't matter if we have to walk a few minutes from the station. I'll arrive first and send you a message telling you exactly where I'm sitting. I'll be coming from the bank, while Nina is travelling from the other side of town, so that meeting point should work well for both of us. Announcement: A bag has been left at reception. It isn't the red suitcase reported earlier, and it isn't the blue backpack beside the entrance. The item we are holding is a green handbag. The bag was found about twenty minutes ago near the main entrance. We have checked the outside pockets but have not opened the main part. If you think it is yours, please describe one other detail to the receptionist before taking it away. Reception at the bank will keep the item until the end of the day, and Nina is the staff member dealing with lost property this afternoon. Woman: What are you doing on Saturday? Man: I was invited to go swimming, and I considered shopping too. But I've arranged to go cycling with some friends. We haven't planned the whole day, just the main activity. We'll probably meet in the morning and decide about lunch afterwards. One friend may join us later, but that won't change what we're doing. I haven't done it for a few weeks, so I'm looking forward to it. We're meeting Nina near the bank in the morning, and we'll decide what to do for lunch only after we've finished the main activity.
