I used to own a car even though I drove only once or twice a week. It was expensive to (21) because I had to pay for insurance, parking and repairs. Last year I joined a car-sharing service. Members use an app to (22) a car for a few hours or a whole day. Several cars are within walking (23) of my flat. Fuel is included, so I know exactly how much each journey will (24). Popular holiday weekends can get fully (25), so I plan longer journeys early. The change has made me think more carefully about whether a car is really (26) for each trip. The experience has also made me notice small practical details that I did not think about before. I now plan a little more carefully and enjoy the activity more because I understand what to expect. This extra experience also helped me understand the activity better and made the next attempt easier to organise.
