I joined a guided history walk around the oldest part of my town. I had passed many buildings before but never (21) much attention to them. The guide carried old photographs so we could (22) them with the streets around us. We stopped often, so nobody had to move at a fast (23). Old signs could still be (24) above some doors. The guide did not try to (25) us with too many dates. By the end, I had a much better (26) of a place I thought I knew. The experience has also made me notice small practical details that I did not think about before. I now plan a little more carefully and enjoy the activity more because I understand what to expect. This extra experience also helped me understand the activity better and made the next attempt easier to organise.
