Museum volunteer

I started volunteering at the town museum last summer. I had always been interested local history. My main job is welcoming visitors and showing them to find different exhibitions. Staff told me it was fine to ask someone help when I did not know an answer. I have met people many different countries. The museum is usually busiest Saturday afternoons, so that is when most volunteers are needed. I have learned much more about the town I expected. The change has become part of my normal routine, and I now notice the benefits more clearly than I did at the beginning. It has also encouraged me to plan ahead and make small practical improvements. The routine now feels normal, and I find it easier to plan each week.
