Supply-Chain Planner
Working as a supply-chain planner, I reconsidered my methods during a model of component shortages. The decisive observation in a model of component shortages was that firms ordering early prevented the scarcity the model anticipated. For this supply-chain planner, the discovery changed the evidence required before a decision could be defended. I responded within a model of component shortages by tracking actions triggered by each scenario. Although colleagues feared delay, that practice made disagreement specific and left a trace of why the obvious option was rejected. My conclusion from a model of component shortages was that an unrealised prediction may have altered the outcome. I now value reasoning that remains usable after the original supply-chain planner team has left.
