The van carries a compact set of materials, along with fold-out tables that can be used in a hall, a library or an outdoor space. Its timetable is planned months ahead, but local hosts can choose themes that suit their communities. Several hosts have reported that the sessions create conversations between people who would not normally meet, especially when participants compare their first attempts. This has become an unexpected benefit for many local people. From the (1) .........., the charity wanted to bring creative activities within easy (2) .......... of people who might otherwise have to travel a long distance. Each visit is carefully planned so that participants can make the most (3) .......... the time available, whether they are trying printmaking for the first time or developing an existing skill. Not every plan has gone (4) .......... to schedule. Bad weather has occasionally delayed a visit, and the van’s limited space means that materials have to be chosen with care. On the (5) .......... hand, those restrictions have encouraged tutors to come (6) .......... with inventive ways of working.
