Making a historic building welcoming
The team responsible for a small local museum had no intention of turning the building into a theme park. Before making changes, they invited visitors and carers to describe the points at which the building felt most difficult to use. The comments did not all point to the same solution, but they revealed several common frustrations. Yet they recognised that visitors had found the old layout unnecessarily (17) ...........
