An inflatable shelter for hikers

Everyone is familiar with the workings of emergency shelters, designed to offer basic protection during severe weather. But now a wearable shelter for hikers has been invented and it's being promoted (9) ________ an alternative to a raincoat for walkers who dislike carrying heavy tents. When I started hiking, I always carried a tent, but after many years without ever needing it, I started leaving it behind — (10) ________ because of vanity, rather because of the hassle of having to carry it once I'd reached my campsite. The hiker's shelter fits around your waist a bit (11) ________ a belt.
