Community Music Day
This year's Community Music Day, which is taking place on May 12, hopes to encourage everyone, and especially teenagers, to discover the joy of performing. Schools and theatres are getting involved, with a packed schedule of events designed (9) ________ bring music to life. There will be musicians popping (10) ________ classrooms to play their instruments briefly and answer questions, and song-writing events. Teenagers will also be able to take part in workshops (11) ________ that they really have a chance to engage with the music. As (12) ________ as hoping to encourage teenagers to catch the music bug, Community Music Day also hopes to (13) ________ reluctant adults hooked on performing. So, (14) ________ the first time, Community Music Day will also have an adult focus, with the launch of Quick Sessions, (15) ________ selection of short, friendly workshops by well-known musicians. The first set of Quick Sessions will be offered on Community Music Day, (16) ________ a further collection of workshops being released later in the summer.
