How to Ace Part 2
The Open Cloze section tests your structural knowledge of English. Almost every missing word is a grammatical or "function" word (articles, prepositions, pronouns, auxiliary verbs).
Pay special attention to negative words (like "hardly" or "neither"), phrasal verb particles, and fixed prepositional phrases. Reading the whole sentence before filling the gap is crucial to grasp the exact structural requirement.
